WHAT IS X-FILES UK?

X-Files UK is a fan-made digital archive and tribute to the television series The X-Files, reimagined through a distinctly British lens. This site documents real UFO sightings and paranormal events that have occurred across the United Kingdom — from the misty moors of Yorkshire to the ancient stones of Gloucestershire.

WHY THE UK?

While Mulder and Scully investigated cases across America, the United Kingdom has its own rich history of unexplained phenomena. Britain's ancient landscape, layered with millennia of history, provides a uniquely atmospheric backdrop for the strange and unexplained. From the Falkirk Triangle — Scotland's answer to Area 51 — to the ghostly halls of Hampton Court, the British Isles are teeming with mysteries that would make even Fox Mulder raise an eyebrow.

Like Agent Mulder, we approach these cases with an open mind and a willingness to believe. Like Agent Scully, we present the evidence and alternative explanations. The truth, as always, is out there — possibly somewhere between a crop circle in Wiltshire and a phantom monk in Essex.
